To ensure success and sustainability of a TSI, close attention must be afforded to the way it is designed and set-up. ITC provide consulting services to identify the existing needs and supply of trade support services to facilitate the design of TSIs.

A Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) needs to know where it is performing well, and where it needs to improve. The Benchmarking programme helps TPOs improve their performance by measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of their business practices.

It is essential for Trade Support Institutions to establish or strengthen their managerial and strategic processes. The TSI Strengthening Section provides support through training and advisory services to help TSIs to reinforce and/or develop their strategy.

This module examines the processes necessary to design, develop, improve and deliver the service portfolio of a TSI. -

The Trade Support Institution (TSI) capacity building programme aims to develop the managerial and operational capacities of TSIs to provide relevant and effective trade support services.

ITC’s Market Analysis Tools
are accessible to trade support institutions to examine the export and import statistics of over 220 countries and territories to better understand supply and demand trends for around 5,300 internationally traded products.
