    Fruit and vegetable producer Del Monte has launched a new range of fruit juice pouches for children in the UK. 
    Del Monte Squeezies are made with 100% fruit, no added sugar or artificial ingredients and count as one of the five recommended daily portions of fruit and vegetables. Designed for children aged between three and nine, each pocket-sized pouch features an image of Mickey or Minnie Mouse, establishing the new range as ‘a fun and healthy snack for children that parents can trust’.
    They will launch with listings in Asda and convenience stores nationwide.
    Martin Tilney, commercial director UK and Ireland for Fresh Del Monte Produce, said: “The trend for healthy eating is continuing to grow in the UK and we know that parents are on a constant search for nutritious snacks that their children will enjoy too. That’s why we’re delighted to be working with Disney to launch our new Squeezies range. Healthy eating should be a fun experience for the whole family and at Del Monte we hope to make this easier for parents to achieve.”
    The range consists of three different flavours, each available in Minnie and Mickey Mouse designs: apple, banana and strawberry is rich in vitamins C and E, Del Monte said; the apple and mango variant is nutritionally rich thanks to the mango content and is a good source of vitamin A; while the apple, strawberry and blueberry juice is packed with vitamin C, fibre and other antioxidants.
    Each handy pouch comes with a collectable cap and digital app, which provides nutritional information and family-oriented games.
