ITC is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. ITC assists micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in developing and transition economies to become more competitive in global markets, thereby contributing to sustainable economic development within the frameworks of the Aid-for-Trade agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The EU-Nepal Trade and Investment Programme Project is funded by the European Union.
Implementing partner: Government of Nepal
The programme has been designed and will be implemented jointly with the Government of Nepal, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, the National Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance.
Implementing partner: Trade and investment support institutions
Programme implementation will benefit from a close collaboration between ITC and trade and investment support institutions in Nepal, including, among others, the Trade and Export Promotion Centre, the National Tea and Coffee Development Board, the Nepal Coffee Producers Association, the Nepal Pashmina Industries Association and the Mustang Chyangra Pashmina Farmers' Association.
Beneficiaries are farmers, producers, middlemen and traders, with special emphasis on women along the coffee and pashmina value chains.
Direct beneficiaries will be the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and the country's Trade and Export Promotion Centre, whereas other line Ministries also benefit from trainings and capacity building.
